if kate had a documentary made about every day of her life, i would watch it. she is one of those human beings who is that near impossible combination of a sharp edge and intense love. she's a bit of a nomad. wandering and purposeful even in her unknown. this drawing is based on a photograph she took of herself and her brother and father at the northern-most point of new zealand. she is beautiful. and she is missed. i'll find her again soon.
